Tomorrowland
Realisation
Easy to set up and transport by festival personnel, with no heavy machinery or tools required.
Â
Tomorrowland approached us to design their new event table, recognizing our proven track record of creating visually stunning products that are also highly user-friendly. With our expertise in engineering, we were the perfect partner to bring their vision to life. To ensure the table aligned perfectly with the Tomorrowland DNA, we worked closely with their Design and R&D team throughout the entire process.
Unlike traditional long event tables, this round table was designed with “togetherness” in mind, encouraging a more social and connected experience for festival attendees. Our engineers conducted thorough strength calculations to ensure that the tables are sturdy enough to withstand typical festival behavior—whether it’s people standing on them to spot their friends or even dancing on them, these tables can handle it all.
The usability for festival employees was a key focus in our design. The food zones, consisting of hundreds of tables, need to be set up within two hours by job students, so the system had to be extremely easy to assemble. We incorporated quick-release fasteners, eliminating the need for any tooling. Additionally, to protect the festival grounds and prevent grass damage, the tables are lightweight enough to be moved and installed without heavy machinery. Despite their light weight, they remain durable enough for easy transport and storage—and of course, strong enough to handle dancing festivalgoers.
