MAY / 04 Pegases . Vaulting Table
The authoritative Dutch company Janssen-Fritsen, now already for over fifty years, has been active as a specialist in the field of materials for movement education, practise gymnastics sport and hall design. In Belgium there is a branch in Lummen.
Janssen-Fritsen is proud of the constant development of new products and the improvement of existing designs.
The Janssen-Fritsen core activities are in movement education, competition practise gymnastics and the design of sports halls and gym halls. Manageability, multi-functionality and durability are of the greatest importance in this.
Worldwide there are only five companies that produce practise gymnastics equipment that are suitable for the Olympic Games. With the Pegases box appliance, which replaces the classic vaulting horse, Janssen-Fritsen has managed to place itself on the map for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Achilles Associates participated in the technical development of this appliance.
A first important condition for a practise gymnastics appliance is that it does not cause any harm to the body of the sportsman or woman. A professional gymnast trains many hours per day and five to six days per week. Consequently it is very important that the appliances are offer intensive and absolutely save use.
The Pegases scores many times better in this field than the old vaulting horse. Not only does it have a broader surface, which makes it easy to place the hands, but it also causes fewer vibrations during use. www.janssen-fritsen.com |
