In collaboration with Achilles Associates BioRacer has developed ReSkin, a bi-elastic plaster (elastic in the length and the width) that protects the body against the consequences of rubbing and sweating. Saddle-soreness is an often occurring complaint in cyclists, but also at other locations of the body and in other branches of sport the patch can offer relief from physical discomfort.
In the development of ReSkin, Achilles Associates took a meticulous analysis of the cycling position in riders, and measurements of pressure points in this as a starting point. A great deal of experience in the field of one of the employees was a great ace card in that. In combination with intensive testing in laboratories, the material and the design could, in that way, also be subjected to hundreds of kilometres in test rides before proceeding to the production phase.
