As a brand name Banksys comes under the Atos Worldline group which provides services and solutions for the processing of payments and data. The Banksys offer consists, on the one hand, of the management of the Belgium payment network via systems for retail payments such as Bancontact/Mister Cash and Proton. On the other hand the company develops high technological payment solutions for the international market.

Xenteo, the new universal paying terminal of Banksys with corresponding pass-reader, was developed in collaboration with Achilles Associates, who were responsible for the concept, the styling and the mechanical development of the system. The starting point here was always a whole in strict standards and guidelines with regard to user-friendliness, ergonomics and protection of electronic payments. And this for all involved parties: the pass holders and users, but also the integrators and the installers.

The robust and flexible Xenteo design makes it ideal for every self-service environment: machines, kiosks, fuel stations, shops with self-service tills etcetera. The use of impact-proof plastics, an illuminated display and an extremely ergonomic, metal keyboard result in a solid, weather and vandalism-proof terminal which, on top of all that, looks very refined.

That the user was always central in the Xenteo design is also demonstrated by the corresponding pass-reader, which considerably increases the flexibility and the integration options of it. In addition to that the interface is also an example of user-friendliness.
